By installing or using Header Specter, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension or subscription app.

2. Service Description

Header Specter provides browser-level privacy features through request-header controls and optional premium capabilities delivered through a paid subscription.

3. Account and Billing Integrations

• Subscription billing is handled by Polar.
• Subscription activation depends on verified provider events and API checks.
• You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information with the payment provider.

Billing-specific terms are described in the Subscription Agreement.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not attempt to bypass access controls, request signing, or anti-abuse protections.
• Do not abuse API routes with automated scraping or denial-of-service behavior.
• Do not use the service for unlawful or harmful activity.

5. Privacy and Security

Data handling and security controls are documented in the Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement, and SECURITY.md.

6. Availability and Changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features to improve reliability, security, and compliance. Material policy changes are reflected in the legal pages with updated timestamps.

7. Disclaimer

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a specific legal or regulatory outcome in your jurisdiction.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the extension, third-party outages, or payment processor interruptions.
