Subscription Agreement

1. Scope

This agreement supplements the Terms of Service and applies to paid subscription features.

2. Plan and Billing

• Current published plan pricing is displayed in the in-app upgrade flow.
• Recurring billing and payment method management are handled by Polar.
• Subscription records in Header Specter store only identifiers required for entitlement checks.

3. Activation and Verification

• Premium access requires successful provider confirmation and verification data.
• Callbacks without verifiable subscription metadata are treated as pending, not fully active.
• Subscription status may be revalidated periodically for security and anti-fraud controls.

4. Renewal and Cancellation

• Subscriptions renew per provider billing cycle unless cancelled before renewal.
• Cancellation is managed in the provider portal linked from the app.
• Entitlement changes take effect based on provider status and expiration timestamps.

5. Refunds

Refund handling follows provider capabilities and applicable law. Unless required by law or explicitly approved, charges are generally non-refundable after a billing period begins.

6. Abuse Prevention

Attempts to forge activation payloads, bypass request authentication, or tamper with entitlement data may result in suspension of premium access.
